Fort Rock!

Happy Anniversary to US, and we celebrated at Summer Lake Inn with Marty and Jane, Marcus's fantastic parents. We stayed in these awesome cabins, and drove up on the ridge above the lake. It was a beautiful place! Other highlights were some serious bocce ball games, and steaks. The lake was very cool, but you can't really swim in it. It's a salt lake, but it's a good view!







Tilly got off, unfortunately Marcus didn't.








The view from up on top of Fort Rock, a huge volcanic rock formation in the middle of nowhere, that we climbed all over on. It seriously does look like a huge fort made of rock. The Native Americans used it as a dwelling place many years ago.

The view from the bottom,.. Marcus is up on top somewhere...... Supposedly there are rattlesnakes around, but we didn't see any.
